Sectional Living Room Set

A sectional living room set maximizes seating space and is the perfect choice for homes with larger families.

Choosing a Color

The right color furniture – whether it's one of the sets above or otherwise – for you home often depends largely on the color of your walls. Here's how to style with common wall colors:

White: White paint for homes is often not bright white, but softer shades like cream or eggshell. If this describes the color of your current room, a sectional living room set in a similar off-white or earthy tone will complement nicely. Avoid bright white. Because it is not often paired with off-shades, bright (true) white may clash, or at least feel disorienting to the viewer.

Beige: Beige is actually considered the most versatile. If your living room scheme and/or wall paint is beige, you basically have free reign over what color sectional living room set you can choose from. (Seriously – you virtually can't go wrong!)

Blue: If you're going for a room aesthetic that's all blue, then you'll want to create depth through varying shades – otherwise, it may feel a bit 'much.' If your walls are robin's egg, then opt for a navy sectional living room set for contrast. If your walls are navy, opt for a robin's egg sectional living room set for contrast. (Etc, etc.!) If, on the other hand, you want only one splash of blue through one 'thing' in the room (i.e., just the walls, or just the sectional living room set), then you'll have to decide how you want the room to 'feel.' Do you prefer light and buyouant? Or warm and defined? If the former, you'll want to make the sectional living room set and other decor around the walls a light neutral like sandy beige or cream. If the latter, opt for dark colors like chocolate or charcoal for a richer, cozier feel. Either way, make sure to stick to neutral-colored furniture and decor to allow the blue color to really pop!
